An Angel Tree is a service opportunity. In the United States, a popular on is run by tha Salvation Army. Once children are approved as recipients, their anonymized details (age, interests, clothing sizes) are printed on a tag and the tag is hung on a tree. We can pick the tag off the tree and buy a gift for that particular child and Salvation Army will arrange delivery! This is such a great way to donate to children in need.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys to more than one-million children and families in need each year. Once a child is accepted as an Angel, donors like you can shop for their Christmas wish list. Simply pick a tag off the Angel Tree located inside your local Walmart store or follow the instructions below to shop online using Walmart’s Registry for Good. Once the gifts are received, The Salvation Army will distribute them to families in need for Christmas morning.
Welcome to the Giving Tree, where you simply select the gift that you want to give, add this to your cart, and then checkout – we will do the rest. The recipients are children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind. Without Giving Tree, these children may not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas. Even Covid-19 can’t stop the Giving Tree. This year we have created the KidsOut online shop where you can choose and donate a present for a child in refuge. KidsOut guarantees to provide that gift and deliver it to a child in refuge.
